Job summary

DAHER is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic for our Pompano Beach, FL facility. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, inspections, and repairs on airframes, engines, and components in compliance with FAA regulations and Daher standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of aviation maintenance experience, preferably TBM or Kodiak turboprop work, and hold an A&P certificate with IA preferred. Relocation and sign-on bonuses may be available based on skill level.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification required.
• 5–7 years of progressive aviation maintenance experience, turboprop preferred (TBM/Kodiak).
• Inspection Authorization (IA) designation preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills.
• Proficiency with aviation maintenance software and digital documentation tools.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in aviation maintenance preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead advanced maintenance, repairs, and inspections per FAA regulations and manufacturer specs.
• Serve as a technical mentor to junior mechanics and oversee procedures.
• Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting of airframe, powerplant, and systems.
• Oversee complex repairs and modifications, including component overhaul and system calibration.
• Ensure accurate maintenance documentation in accordance with manuals and Quality Control.
• Collaborate with QA and service management to resolve technical issues.

Daher’s Pompano Beach, Florida site is a key U.S. Part 145 aircraft maintenance and service center, providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, inspection, and technical support for Daher’s TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft. The facility supports both individual owners and commercial operators, performing hands‑on airframe, powerplant, propeller, and systems maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data. The site also plays an important role in training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals, reinforcing Daher’s commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within its global aircraft support network.

DAHER Aircraft Inc. is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our growing team at our Pompano Beach facility. This role is ideal for a highly skilled aviation maintenance professional with at least five years of hands‑on experience, ideally with turbopropaircraftsuch as the TBM and Kodiak series. The A&P Mechanic will perform and oversee complex maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks onaircraft, engines, and components, ensuring compliance with all FAA and company standards.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform andleadadvanced maintenance, repairs, and inspectionsin accordance withFAA regulations and manufacturer specifications (IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc.)
• Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior mechanics, providing guidance and oversight on maintenance procedures and best practices
• Conduct detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting of airframe structures, powerplants, andaircraftsystems
• Oversee and execute complex repairs and modifications, includingcomponentoverhaul, system calibration, and structural repairs
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately andin accordance withthe Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and service management to resolve technical issues and streamline processes
• Maintain safe work practices and support continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance operation

What you need to have:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificationrequired

Information related to the position:

• The compensation range starts at $38.00 per hour in base salary plus an annual target bonus. The offered salary is specific to each candidates skill level, the final offer depends on level of experience.
• The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, skills, and current market conditions.
