Job summary

Daher in Pompano Beach, FL seeks a General Facilities Technician to maintain cleanliness, safety and aesthetics at the FAA-regulated facility. You will support aircraft detailing, hangar upkeep, and minor repairs while coordinating with maintenance teams and vendors.

The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and ability to read English, with the potential to advance in a busy aviation support network.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft detailing or comparable field.
• Familiarity with aviation industry standards and practices.
• Certifications related to aircraft maintenance or detailing or cleaning.
• Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift experience a plus or be willing to train.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must have a clean driving record.

• Document completed tasks and report any discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to schedule detailing services.
• Cleaning of the hangar and minor facility repairs. Assist aircraft technicians as needed.
• Utilize specialized tools and cleaning agents designed for aviation use.
• Deliver and pick up aircraft parts.
• Take customers to the airport or hotel as required.
• Move and Tow aircraft as needed.
• Fuel aircraft.
• Perform duties as requested by the management.
• Clean, paint, plumbing support as needed
• Vendor coordination and getting Quotes and bids.
• Other duties as assigned.

Location & Facility

Daher’s Pompano Beach, Florida site is a key U.S. Part 145 aircraft maintenance and service center, providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, inspection, and technical support for Daher’s TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft. The facility supports both individual owners and commercial operators, performing hands‑on airframe, powerplant, propeller, and systems maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data. The site also plays an important role in training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals, reinforcing Daher’s commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within its global aircraft support network.

Primary Role And Responsibilities

The General Facilities Technician is pivotal in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics in the Daher pompano Facility.

Information related to the position: (Required for all positions)

• The compensation range is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
• The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
