Job summary

JSfirm, LLC is seeking an aviation maintenance technician in Millington, Tennessee. The candidate must hold an Airframe & Power Plant license and have at least two years of recent A&P experience, preferably with large commercial aircraft. The role requires thorough documentation and commitment to safety.

You will perform work per FAA data, maintain airworthiness, and keep the shop organized. A comprehensive background check and DOT pre-employment drug testing apply.

Qualifications

• Large commercial aircraft experience preferred; corporate, general or military aircraft considered.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data.
• Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed.
• Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.
• Maintains the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner.
• Performs additional duties as requested by a supervisor or other management personnel.
• This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to submit to pre-employment and periodic DOT regulations for drug and alcohol testing.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Must have an Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License.
• Minimum of two or more (2+) years of recent experience utilizing A & P license.
• Large commercial aircraft experience preferred but corporate, general, or military aircraft will be considered.
• H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.

Abilities and Skills:

• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be efficient and able to document maintenance performed on required forms.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with the work product.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders, and/or service stands.
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing are required.
• Subject to continual loud noise.

Other Requirements:

• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment drug test per DOT regulations.
