CERTIFIED AVIATION SERVICES LLC is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at our Louisville, KY facility to perform preventative maintenance and alterations on client aircraft in compliance with FAA standards. Responsibilities include inspecting engines, landing gear, instruments, structures, and systems; completing documentation and flight releases; and ensuring airworthiness of fleet.
Must hold FAA A&P license and pass pre-employment requirements.

Aircraft Maintenance Technicians are responsible for preventative maintenance and alterations of (CLIENT’S) aircraft with the ability to adhere to specifications and Safety Standards. The Aircraft Technician will inspect aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories, brakes, valves, pumps, and air-conditioning systems. Technicians will maintain records related to maintenance performed on the aircraft along with the signing of mechanical flight releases. Mechanics may also repair sheet metal or composite surfaces and will rely on the pilots’ description of a problem to discover and restore faulty equipment. As a certified AMT, you have a valuable role to ensure the safety of our fellow (CLIENT) Team members and Guests as well as the airworthiness of fleet assigned.
Working conditions: A&P Mechanics commonly work in all elements, capability to handle weather extremes is desired. Mechanics often work under time pressure to maintain flight schedules to keep from inconveniencing customers. At the same time, mechanics have a tremendous responsibility to maintain safety standards.
