Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Charlotte, NC is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our team as instructors. You will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned curriculum and provide hands-on instruction to aspiring aircraft technicians.

No teaching experience required; you will mentor students, share real-world maintenance insight, and help build a structured, safety-focused learning environment while working a variety of shift options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Background as an A&P Mechanic, Aircraft Mechanic, or AMT.
• FAA A&P certificate required.

Responsabilités

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems in hands-on setting
• Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification
• Demonstrate practical skills used by AMTs
• Maintain attendance, grades, and student progress records
• Support curriculum updates with program leadership
• Create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment
• Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials
