Job summary

ABX Air, Inc. is seeking a Line Maintenance Representative in Seattle to perform preventive maintenance, repairs and line tasks on aircraft and related equipment in compliance with manuals and FAA regulations.

You will travel regionally to support stations, assist with training and audits, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. You must hold an A&P license, have a valid driver's license, and be able to read wiring diagrams and assess structural damage.

Qualifications

• Must have HSD/GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR background check.
• A&P License.
• 2 years experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel on company aircraft as required.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in small spaces.
• Work in adverse/outdoor conditions.
• Able to wear respirator/safety gear as indicated.
• Lift up to 75 lbs. and work at heights up to 60 ft.
• Ability to obtain SIDA Badge.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications and other line maintenance of aircraft and related equipment per manuals and FAA regulations.
• Communicate with all departments; travel for station coverage and training.
• Maintain station manuals, parts and tooling inventory.
• De-icing, snow removal, GSE maintenance and MXI work as needed.
• Travel regionally to verify stations pass FAA and QA audits.
• Manning on-call shifts and performing other duties as assigned.
