Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking an A&P Mobile Service Technician in Idaho Falls for 1st shift to maintain and service customer aircraft on site. You will diagnose, repair, and coordinate with customers to ensure satisfaction and timely flight readiness while supporting the mobile service team.

The role requires an A&P license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3+ years in jet/turboprop/piston work; preferred experience with Cessna, Hawker, or Beechcraft.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• A&P license required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, and phase inspection experience as an A&P Mechanic.
• Preferred: 1–2 years’ experience on Cessna, Hawker, or Beechcraft aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and mechanical work on one or more aircraft models to prepare for flight and delivery.
• Repair, replace, and adjust aircraft systems per policy and FAR guidance.
• Coordinate with MST Lead Mechanic and Customer to review work scope and feedback.
• Order parts and ensure proper documentation and safety standards are met.
• Maintain safe, clean, and roadworthy mobile service vehicle and equipment.
