Job summary

Cessna Aircraft Company in Idaho Falls is seeking an A&P Mobile Service Technician for the 1st shift. The role focuses on diagnostic and mechanical work on customer aircraft, coordinating with the MST Lead Mechanic, and ensuring safe, on-time service with customer satisfaction.

Required: high school education or equivalent and an A&P license, plus 3+ years in diversified jet, turboprop, or piston maintenance. Preferred: 1–2 years on Cessna, Hawker, or Beechcraft.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• A&P license required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, and phase inspection experience as an A&P Mechanic.
• Preferred - Minimum 1-2 years’ experience on Cessna, Hawker, or Beechcraft aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the work scope is completed in a timely manner and work performed is done in accordance with established policy, procedure, and quality standards.
• Performs diagnostic and mechanical duties on aircraft to prepare for flight and delivery to Customer.
• Inspect and service aircraft systems including engines, landing gear, air conditioning, pressurization, and optional equipment installations.
• Order and obtain parts necessary to effect repairs; ensure core returns.
• Follow FAR Part 145 inspections and keep thorough documentation in logs and reports.
• Maintain safe work environment and communicate safety expectations.
• Assist MST Lead Mechanic with coordinating and communicating aircraft issues with Customer.
