Job summary

PJ Helicopters is seeking A&P Base/Field Mechanics to perform base maintenance duties. You’ll conduct detailed inspections, minor and major repairs, modifications, and servicing on our helicopter fleet, plus drive fuel and support trucks in the field.

The role requires FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses and knowledge of FARs 91, 133, 135, and 145; a CDL with Hazmat/tank endorsements is required, or you must obtain them after hire. Willingness to travel and pass drug tests is necessary.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses.
• Knowledge of FARs – 91, 133, 135, and 145.
• Preference for UH-60, AS-350, Bell 407, 429 or MD 530F experience.
• Commercial Driver’s License with HAZMAT/Tank Endorsements required.
• If you don’t have HAZMAT, willingness to obtain after hire.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and travel as needed.
• Pre-employment drug-screening and ongoing testing.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general helicopter maintenance including detailed inspections, minor and major repairs and alterations, preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Drive the fuel and support trucks as required.
