Job summary

Metro Aviation, Inc. seeks an A&P Hangar Based Fixed Wing/Helicopter Aviation Maintenance Technician (PC12/B407) in Show Low, Arizona for the Guardian Air Transport program.

Full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package and sign-on/retention incentives. The ideal candidate will possess a valid FAA A&P certificate, a minimum of three years’ turbine rotorcraft or airplane experience, and IA or FAR 135 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years turbine rotorcraft or airplane experience.
• Inspection Authorization and/or FAR 135 experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a close liaison with the A&P Lead AMT to provide up-to-date status of aircraft and forecast downtime.
• Perform aircraft maintenance including inspection, modification, maintenance, and repair of airframe, rotors, engines, and appliances per MAI manuals, FAA data, and applicable regs.
• Coordinate with Lead AMT the maintenance schedule for base aircraft considering workflow, equipment, parts, and job requirements.
• Communicate with pilots and clinical crew regarding aircraft condition on arrival at the base.
• Maintain field base to company standards and take ownership of each aircraft.
• Prepare and submit material requests and inventory reports; receive and ship inventory as needed.
• Maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and keep tool tracking logs updated.
