Job summary

Air Transport Services Group seeks an Airborne Tech Instructor to deliver high-quality technical instruction to students in the Airborne Tech program. The role ensures alignment with the curriculum, safety requirements, and industry standards while supporting student success and preparing graduates for entry-level technician roles.

The instructor will provide hands-on and classroom training, maintain schedules, and collaborate with program leadership to sustain a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Must hold an Airframe and Powerplant license.
• 2-5 years of hands-on aviation experience in an MRO environment or airline setting.
• High school diploma required.
• Demonstrates integrity, a strong work ethic, and professionalism.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a focus on customer service in an educational context.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven educational setting.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with the capacity to multitask and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technical instruction to Airborne Tech students.
• Provide hands-on and classroom-based training aligned with curriculum.
• Maintain reliable class schedules and coordinate with program leadership.
• Foster a positive, structured learning environment for all students.
• Support student success and prepare students for entry-level technician roles.
• Ensure adherence to safety requirements and AMES training standards.
