Job summary

Premier Jet Center is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Lead - A&P at Flying Cloud Airport, Eden Prairie, MN. The role requires a current A&P license, 3+ years of experience, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while ensuring high-quality inspections and maintenance.

You will lead troubleshooting, AD/Bulletin compliance, and record-keeping, while coordinating with the Director of Maintenance and other teams. FAA safety rules apply and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• A&P license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Flight Safety International or similar training preferred.
• Strong communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Previous project leadership preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135 and 145.
• Must have minimum tooling to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality inspections, servicing and maintenance on airframe systems including 100 hour/annual/phase inspections.
• Completes testing, adjusting, repairing and related maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoots, fits and installs complex structural assemblies.
• Uses technical data and follows instructions; orders parts as needed.
• Prepares documentation for FAA-compliant records (work orders, training logs).
• Leads quality checks, inspector role, and corrective actions.
• Oversees work on assigned aircraft and mentors junior technicians.
• Shares knowledge OTJ to develop the team.
