Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Quality Inspector, A&P, to focus on airframe inspections, ensuring airworthiness and safety during maintenance, repair, and modifications. You will verify FAA compliance and document findings to certify aircraft for return to service.

The role requires an FAA A&P license, formal aviation training, and experience in MRO environments. You will train technicians, provide guidance, and help maintain strict quality standards in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aviation inspection experience.
• Must have completed formal aviation training from a military or technical program.
• Experience in multi-level maintenance or MRO environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft and components before, during, and after maintenance.
• Determine serviceability using precision gauges and non-destructive testing when certified.
• Document inspection results and sign off RTS.
• Provide guidance to technicians and ensure proper paperwork and procedures.
• Coordinate timely RTS and ensure compliance with manuals and data.
