Breeze Airways is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT) at multiple locations, including Fort Lauderdale, FL. AMTs perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance tasks to ensure airworthiness under FAA regulations.

Yearly experience-based pay scales start at $30.50 per hour with increases by year, plus a $2.00 night shift differential. Benefits include health, retirement, and travel opportunities with Breeze.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft types.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions.
• Must have authorization to work in the US.
• Must be flexible to days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Willing to travel 20% of the time.
• Willing to work with other departments as needed.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
• Must pass TSA fingerprint-based background check and Breeze background check.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must obtain and maintain a SIDA badge per TSA requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all assigned maintenance duties per the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
• Be responsible and accountable for all work performed.
• Complete Breeze forms for all maintenance and inspections.
• Handle parts, units, assemblies, and aircraft safely during repairs.
• Keep documentation current for open discrepancies and actions.
• Complete documentation for maintenance work performed or inspections.
• Submit personal OJT Task Cards timely and accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and operative work area and account for all tools.
• Care for and use tools and equipment properly.
• Notify supervisor and team of any condition affecting airworthiness.
• Maintain a valid A&P or Repairman certificate for inspection readiness.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership, MOC, or DOM.
• Meet Breeze performance standards aligned with the Breeze Aviation Group values.
