Job summary

Utah State University is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (full-time) for locations in Logan, Brigham City, or Carbon County airports. The role focuses on airframe and powerplant maintenance for flight training aircraft and supporting facility operations.

Responsibilities include servicing Diamond DA40F/DA42 and R-22/R-44 airframes, assisting the Chief of Maintenance with airworthiness, and maintaining shop and campus maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Power Plant License required.
• Candidates must provide their own tools; specialty tools may be provided by the University.
• Must be willing to help maintain shop equipment, buildings, lawn care, snow removal and other tasks to assist Flight School operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and service Utah State University Flight training aircraft (Diamond DA40F, DA42, R-22 and R-44 airframes).
• Assist the Chief of Maintenance with airworthiness tasks and act in their stead when not available.
• Help maintain shop equipment, buildings, lawn care, snow removal and other tasks to support flight school operations.
