Job summary

Wipaire, a leader in aircraft floats, is seeking an Aircraft or A&P Mechanic for first shift in South St. Paul, MN. This role invites you to apply military aircraft experience toward a rewarding career with a 65-year-old American-made manufacturer.

You will perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance per FAA regulations, document work, and work with a friendly team that values work/life balance. A&P license is preferred, and candidates must meet FAA safety standards and be able to lift up to

Qualifications

Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license preferred.
Meet FAA regulatory and safety requirements.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong English communication.
Stand and work long hours in shop/hangar.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of aircraft maintenance tasks, including inspections.
Execute repairs per workbook instructions, FAA regulations, and Wipaire standards.
Maintain and repair aircraft components and systems.
Repair and modify aircraft structures and components.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions by inspecting components.
Maintain and rebuild aircraft structures, floats, and related parts.
Use blueprints and manuals to resolve issues.
Ensure all maintenance complies with safety and regulatory requirements.
Document preventive and corrective maintenance performed on aircraft.
