Aero Air in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an A&P Mechanic to perform troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and preventive aircraft maintenance with safety and quality as a priority. You will ensure records comply with DOT-FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P License in good standing.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional interaction with employees, vendors and all levels.
• Service-oriented and able to build productive relationships.
• Must possess adequate tools to perform job functions.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs per regulations and policies to ensure airworthiness.
• Correct compliance or safety issues and inform appropriate personnel.
• Estimates labor-hours for repairs and inspections.
• Maintains accurate, verifiable maintenance records.
• Reads manuals and service bulletins to determine repair methods.
• Operates tools and equipment necessary to complete tasks.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and professional work area.
• Ensures reliable, regular attendance.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
