Aero Air in Madras, Oregon, is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to assist licensed A&P mechanics with inspection, maintenance and repair of aircraft, emphasizing safety and quality. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience toward an A&P certification.

The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability. You will perform troubleshooting, read manuals, maintain records, and follow Aero Air policies. A relocation and comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Currently in aircraft maintenance school or has military aircraft maintenance background.
• Willing to test for A&P license when eligible.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and at all levels.
• Must have adequate tools to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform aircraft maintenance per regulations, manufacturers' instructions, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specs to determine repair methods.
• Operate tools and equipment necessary for the assignment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure reliable attendance.
• Under supervision of a licensed A&P mechanic, perform duties as assigned.
