Job summary

Pentastar Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to support maintenance operations across turbine-powered aircraft. The role requires an FAA A&P license and recent hands-on experience, with familiarity reading maintenance manuals and schematics.

You will work with airframes and engines, troubleshoot systems, and ensure airworthiness and safety across operations. The position may involve variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and demands strong customer service

Qualifications

• Must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no infractions.
• 3 to 10 years’ experience preferred.
• Experience working under an FAA-approved Part 145 repair station is required; Part 135 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documents to determine repair methods.
• Work with limited supervision to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain high standards of quality and customer service.
• Schedule flexibility including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
