Job summary

Ameriflight is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P Mechanic) to service a diverse turboprop fleet at our Lubbock, TX base. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs in a fast-paced Part 135 operation, ensuring safety and reliability of aircraft.

The role requires an FAA A&P certificate, 2+ years of turboprop experience, and familiarity with Beechcraft 99/BE1900, Embraer EMB-120, Saab 340B, and related engines. Travel for training may be needed.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid FAA Aircraft Mechanic certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings.
2+ years of turboprop maintenance experience in Part 135/121 operations preferred.
Experience with Beechcraft 99/BE1900, Embraer EMB-120, Fairchild SA227 and Saab 340B aircraft.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply maintenance manuals and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on turboprop aircraft in accordance with company policy and FAA regulations.
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant components and systems.
Document work performed per procedures and regulations; maintain a clean, safe work area.
May travel for training or to support other bases; may operate ground handling equipment.
