Sun Country Airlines in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensure airworthiness of our fleet. This full-time, non-exempt role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting maintenance in TRAX, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent, an A&P license, and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A&P license required.
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to pass criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft to Sun Country Airlines standards
• Complete maintenance paperwork accurately
• Enter log items, NRTCs, and task cards into TRAX
• Identify and report problems affecting daily maintenance operations
• Communicate with Maintenance Station Supervisor during procedures
• Maintain an up-to-date OJT file
• Assist with training of new hires
• Keep maintenance facilities clean and organized
• Move and position aircraft as needed
• Move and position ground equipment as needed
• Perform tasks safely following regulations and internal policies
