Job summary

ABX Air, Inc. seeks a Line Maintenance Representative to perform preventive maintenance, repairs and modifications on aircraft and related equipment in compliance with FAA regulations.

Travel regionally for station coverage and audits, and to train new team members on MXI, paperwork, and manuals. The role requires an A&P license, a High School Diploma/GED, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 75 lbs, and obtain a SIDA badge if needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED.
• A&P License required.
• 2 years of experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• Ability to travel regionally for station coverage and audits.
• Ability to obtain SIDA badge.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications and line maintenance per manuals and FAA regulations.
• Communicate with all departments; travel for station coverage, training and other maintenance support.
• Work outdoors in all weather; on-call as needed.
• Assist Airport Planning/Properties with property and environmental issues; maintain station manuals, parts and tooling inventory.
• Deicing, snow removal, GSE maintenance, MXI work; travel regionally to verify stations pass FAA and QA audits.
• Train new team members on paperwork, MXI, manuals, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
