Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare locum tenens assignment in New Mexico requires inpatient GI coverage with supervision of Advanced Practice Providers. ERCP and EUS expertise are required, along with colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management.

Shifts are 8 am to 5 pm, with 7-day call coverage; about 15 patients per shift and 15+ per call, including 5–10 admissions. Weatherby covers malpractice, travel, and housing, with ongoing consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient GI with high acuity patients.
• Competence in ERCP and EUS.
• Ability to manage colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes.

Responsibilities

• Shifts Mon–Sun, 8 am–5 pm; 7-day call coverage.
• 15 patients per shift; 15+ patients seen per call with 5–10 admissions.
