Job summary

Chain Electric Company is hiring an A-Lineman to safely perform skilled electrical work in the construction, maintenance, and operation of underground and overhead distribution or transmission systems. The role includes supervising others occasionally and monitoring work for safety and efficiency.

Candidates must have at least 4 years of related experience, CDL-B, and willingness to travel. Living within an hour of Richland, MS is required, and applicants should supply their own tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of directly related experience.
• Able to work irregular hours and travel on short notice.
• Must possess CDL-B license.
• Must live within one-hour drive of Richland, MS.
• Own tools and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety practices and procedures at all times.
• Open switches or attach grounding devices to remove hazards.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment.
• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground systems.
• Inspect and test power lines using instruments.
