Job summary

Bryan Ford, Inc. in Ohio is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Service Technician to join the service department. This role handles advanced diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and a variety of challenging service work with limited supervision.

Ford certification is strongly preferred, though qualified A-Level technicians from other OEMs are encouraged to apply. We offer a sign-on bonus/relocation assistance, a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

  • Ford certification preferred; other OEM A-Level certifications considered.
  • 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
  • Master Technician certification is a strong plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair methods.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with current automotive scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and professional customer service.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Handle major mechanical repairs and general service work across a range of vehicles
  • Diagnose difficult mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
  • Use scan tools, testing equipment, and manufacturer service information to pinpoint vehicle problems
  • Determine the proper repair approach and complete work according to factory specifications
  • Inspect completed repairs to verify the vehicle is operating properly
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and document diagnostic results and services performed
  • Communicate repair findings and additional service needs with Service Advisors
  • Work with other members of the service and parts teams to complete repairs efficiently
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and safe work environment
  • Follow dealership procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and all applicable safety requirements
  • Stay current on automotive technology through continuing education, technical training, and certification programs

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent
