Job summary

Michael Bates Chevrolet is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in Woodhaven, MI. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Domestic and GM vehicles in a high-volume dealership with approximately 170 vehicles processed weekly.

The role offers flat-rate pay of $36–$40 per flagged hour, bi-weekly pay, and full benefits including medical, dental, and vision, plus retirement, PTO, uniforms, and relocation assistance for toolbox. ASE and GM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of automotive technician experience.
• A-Level diagnostic and repair capabilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• State of Michigan certification/licensing applicable to the position.
• Own professional automotive tools.
• Experience with digital vehicle inspections.
• Able to perform both diagnostic and maintenance work.
• ASE certifications and GM experience preferred.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of automotive technician experience
• A-Level diagnostic and repair capabilities
• Valid driver’s license
• Required State of Michigan certification/licensing applicable to the position
• Own professional automotive tools
• Experience working with digital vehicle inspections
• Ability to handle both diagnostic and maintenance work

ASE certifications and previous dealership or GM experience are preferred.
