Job summary

Gate 1 Travel is seeking an experienced AI Manager to found and lead our in-house AI team. You will shape the AI strategy, recruit and mentor a remote team, and oversee end-to-end AI solutions from concept to production.

You will work with business stakeholders, engineers, analysts, and product managers to translate problems into data-driven AI implementations. The role focuses on strategic leadership, delivering impactful AI projects, and maintaining governance across models, data, and ethics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in applied AI, machine learning, or data science roles.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

• Serve as the company’s internal expert on AI trends, opportunities, and risks.
