Job summary

University of South Carolina is seeking an Administrative Assistant in the Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing, AI Institute, to ensure smooth daily operations. You will be the primary contact for visitors, faculty, staff and students, handling reception tasks, scheduling, email correspondence and meeting coordination.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently support the institute’s functions within a professional office

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to learn and apply university policies and procedures; basic understanding of project management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for visitors, faculty, staff and students.
  • Schedule appointments, answer emails, coordinate meetings and draft correspondence.
  • Support institute daily operations with organization and efficiency.
