Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a general surgery locum tenens physician to cover 7–14 days per month in Washington State. The role requires comfort with bariatric post-op cases in the ER and the ability to evaluate and stabilize complex presentations.

Assign­ment includes call coverage, hospital privileges, and support from Weatherby consultants. Travel and housing are prepaid; competitive compensation and 24-hour consultant access are provided.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Hospital privileges required.
• Comfort with bariatric post-op cases in the ED.
• Evaluate, stabilize, and facilitate transfer for complex presentations.

• Manage bariatric post-op cases in the ED and coordinate transfers.
