CompHealth seeks skilled inpatient clinicians for assignments in Maine. This role involves predominantly inpatient work with some outpatient duties, including endoscopy and biopsy procedures, managed within a busy schedule.

Candidates should be proficient in endoscopy (upper GI, colonoscopy) and related biopsies, with strong call coverage. CompHealth arranges housing, travel, malpractice coverage, and streamlines credentialing for a smooth assignment experience.

Qualifications

• Inpatient practice with some outpatient exposure.
• Experience with GI procedures including endoscopy and biopsies.
• Ability to manage a high-volume schedule and urgent cases.

Responsibilities

• Primarily inpatient with some outpatient care.
• 12 patients per shift and 8–12 call patients with 3–4 admissions daily.
• Inpatient and outpatient practice settings.
• Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, liver biopsy.
• Esophageal dilatation, manometry, banding, push enteroscopy.
• Sigmoidoscopy, small bowel biopsy, dilations.
• Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and management.
• Negotiate better pay; deposits paid weekly.
• Housing and travel arranged; comprehensive malpractice coverage.
• Credentialing and privileging simplified.
• Online portal for assignment details and time entry.
• Specialized recruiter handles all details.
