Job summary

Global Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced cardiologist for ongoing locum coverage in Illinois. The schedule runs on weekdays 8am–5:30pm, with weekend coverage from Friday 5:30pm to Monday 7:30am. The caseload includes 1–4 cath lab procedures and about 16 office patients daily, with TEE procedures required.

• Cardiology expertise required for adult practice.
• Experience with cath lab procedures and TEE is needed.
• Familiarity with PTCA, cardioversion and stress testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform 1–4 cath lab procedures daily.
• Manage approximately 16 office patients per day.
• Conduct TEE procedures as required.
• Cover ongoing shifts until a permanent hire is found.
