Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a cardiology locum tenens physician in Illinois. Typical duties include TEEs, cardiac caths, PTCA, cardioversion, stress testing, and echo reading.

Hospital privileges are required, with a busy schedule of 1–4 cath lab procedures per day and about 16 office patients daily. The assignment offers malpractice insurance coverage, prepaid travel and housing, and 24/7 consultant support through Weatherby Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Hospital privileges required.
• Experience in adult cardiology preferred.
• Ability to read echocardiograms.

Responsibilities

• Perform TEEs, cardiac caths, PTCA, cardioversion, and stress testing.
• Read echocardiograms and interpret results.
• Manage 16 office patients per day (new and follow-up).
• Perform 1–4 cath lab procedures per day.
