Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a cardiology specialist in Illinois for a travel assignment. The role focuses on TEEs, cardiac caths, PTCA, cardioversion, stress testing, and echo readings, with hospital privileges required.

Expect a schedule from Monday to Friday, with nighttime calls and weekends to be determined. This assignment offers pre-paid travel and housing expenses, plus paid malpractice insurance and ongoing support from a Weatherby consultant.

Qualifications

• Hospital privileges required
• Experience in adult cardiology procedures preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cath lab setting

Responsibilities

• Perform TEEs, cardiac caths, PTCA, and cardioversion as part of daily procedures
• Interpret and read echocardiograms and stress tests
• Manage patient care for 65% Medicare population and coordinate with hospital teams

Job description

• Mon - Fri: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm; nighttime call and weekends TBD
• 1 - 4 cath lab procedures per day
• 16 office patients per day -- mix of new and follow-up
• Adult cardiology patients -- 65% Medicare population
• TEEs, cardiac caths, PTCA, cardioversion, stress testing, echo reading
• Hospital privileges required
