Job summary

Domaille Engineering, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop quality-driven, cost-effective processes for aerospace, defense, and fiber optic product lines. You will translate customer specs into robust production methods, collaborate with operations and sales, and support tooling and process improvements on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes ITAR compliance, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure repeatable, reliable manufacturing results.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in manufacturing engineering or related field; degree preferred.
• Experience in the machining industry and job shop environments.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM and solid modeling.
• Experience developing CNC programs.
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems and World Class Manufacturing.
• Willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Designs and documents fixturing, tooling, and production processes; recommends equipment or process enhancements.
• Develops time standards and analyzes machining and assembly cycle times for quoting and efficiency.
• Coordinates with Operations to ensure readiness before production start.
• Inputs and maintains manufacturing plans in ERP, including ECNs and configuration control.
• Provides technical guidance to production and supports cross-functional scheduling and timelines.
• Supports installation, debugging, and commissioning of new tooling and processes.
