This is a permanent evening shift position. This position is responsible for case management for up to six persons served, including individual, couples, and family counseling. This position will complete assessments, treatment/transition plans and discharge summaries and determine the appropriate ASAM level of care. This position will adhere to ethical and behavioral standards while continuing professional development, and co-facilitate the Reality Group. This position will also conduct educational presentations and provide life skills education. This position participates as a member of the Professional Staff in CQI meetings.
Education: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the requirements for Certified Associate Counselors-Alcohol and Drug. Experience: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the certification requirements for Certified Associate Counselors-Alcohol and Drug.
Employees in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.
