Qualifications

• 5+ years of related financial services experience, preferably in sell-side/buy-side equity research or investment banking.
• Strong academic background in accounting, finance, or economics
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills – strong excel skills will be critical
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work in a time sensitive environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Resourcefulness, entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership qualities
• Bachelor's degree with high GPA

Responsibilities

• Analyze industry macro trends and company financials for Aerospace & Defense coverage.
• Build and maintain financial models and industry databases for research reports.
• Write earnings reports, company reports, and monthly/weekly publications; prepare initiation reports.
• Review business publications, filings, and reports to gather key data.
• Communicate recommendations to sales, trading, and clients; develop marketing materials.
• Meet with management teams and attend industry conferences as appropriate.
