Job summary

Guggenheim Securities in Los Angeles is seeking an exceptional experienced Analyst to join its Aerospace and Defense Group / Industrial Technology Investment Banking team. Analysts contribute to M&A advisory, capital raising, and client relationship development on high-profile transactions.

You will build complex financial models, draft presentations, conduct due diligence, and collaborate with senior bankers and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, core modeling and valuation experience in professional setting.
• SIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of investment banking or equivalent M&A experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.
• Assist in design and development of complex financial models and valuation analyses.
• Draft internal and client-facing documents including management presentations and pitchbooks.
• Perform client due diligence, prepare information memoranda and other transaction-related documentation.
• Contribute to strategic frameworks, tools, and IP to aid business development.
• Conduct competitive research and analyze sector trends.
• Gather and analyze information, test hypotheses, and communicate recommendations.
