Job summary

<p>Rimac Technology in Berlin is looking for an individual to create high-quality, accurate A-Class Icem data that aligns with design intent. You will ensure synergy between design and engineering while engaging in direct collaboration to overcome technical challenges.</p><p>The ideal candidate has expert knowledge of ICEM Surf and a minimum of 5 years of experience in exterior and/or interior design, with a focus on maintaining the highest surface quality.</p><p>The role includes flexible work schedules, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and access to well-being services.</p>

Job description

Responsibilities

• Create high quality, accurate A-Class Icem data that reflects the design intent.
• Maintain a close synergy between design and engineering.
• Collaborate with engineers and gather correct input for parts and issues (typical sections, tooling and draft angles, min radii, etc.).
• Consider engineering, design, and legal requirements in an independent and targeted way.
• Ensure the surface quality correlates with the requirements for the relevant project phase.
• Advise and suggest solutions to overcome design or engineering issues.
• Research alternative solutions for open topics (make up for missing inputs).
• Compile data from other team members to create presentations and data releases.
• Create documents highlighting concerns raised from the design office.
• Thoroughly compare new status with old status and understand the effect.
• Capture the design intent in the best possible way, reworking as often as needed.
• Release A-Class data/parts according to project timing and/or agreed deadlines.
• Release A-Class data/parts according to surfacing standards (correct naming, tolerances, file internal structure, etc.).
• Keep files and folders in a systematic way so it is easy to navigate and colleagues can pick up and continue work.
• Engage in fruitful discussion with designers and other colleagues and give honest feedback on issues.
• Have all the information on the tips (easy to find).
• Raise IT tickets immediately when IT problems occur.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Expert knowledge of ICEM Surf.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Exterior and/or Interior.
• High proficiency in delivering the highest surface quality respecting all legal and technical requirements.
• Good working knowledge of 3DX, Alias, MS Office, OneDrive and Teams.
• Fluent English with good verbal and visual communication skills.
• Self-confident and professional manner when collaborating with colleagues and partners.
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and international environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
