Job summary

Dattolo Automotive in Schaumburg is seeking experienced A-Level and B-Level Automotive Technicians for its shop. This flat-rate role offers $30-$50 per flagged hour with a 30-hour weekly guarantee and a strong bonus potential.

Join a newer, team-oriented facility equipped with 11 lifts, an alignment rack, diagnostic tools, and a robust fleet-service mix. Paid training and extensive development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A- or B-Level candidates with automotive repair experience.
• Experience in brakes, suspension, and related service work.
• Digital vehicle inspection experience preferred; training available.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Must provide personal tools appropriate for the job.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, drivability, and electrical concerns.
• Repair and maintenance on domestic, Asian, European, fleet, and diesel vehicles.
• Complete brake, suspension and wear-and-tear repairs.
• Perform vehicle inspections and document findings via digital inspections.
• Handle removal/replacement work including engine and transmission R&R.
• Diagnose lighting and electrical issues on fleet vehicles and trailers.
• Use scan tools to identify vehicle concerns accurately.
• Meet shop production goals of ~47-55 flagged hours per week.
