Job summary

Young World Physical Education in Lodi Township seeks a part-time Boys Basketball - 9th Grade Coach or Assistant I to develop athletes and support the head coach. Ideal candidates will possess strong coaching and administrative skills, with a preference for a State of Ohio Teacher’s Certificate.

This role involves organizing practices, developing players, and ensuring sportsmanship on and off the field. The commitment includes supervision of team members and fulfilling other coaching duties as assigned, all while fostering ethical and democratic values in young athletes.

Qualifications

• Preferred possession of a State of Ohio Teacher’s Certificate.
• Proven coaching and administrative experience in athletics.
• Certification in CPR and Pupil Activity Supervision Validation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing players for varsity with head coach's direction.
• Be responsible to head coach and follow established program.
• Supervise all team members before, during, and after practices.
