Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a part-time Boys Basketball Head Coach for 8th Grade starting immediately. The role involves coaching duties, player development, and a commitment to athlete well-being. Candidates should have a background in coaching and ideally hold a State of Ohio Teacher's Certificate.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Teacher’s Certificate (preferred, not required).
• Obtain Pupil Activity Supervision Validation & CPR Certification.
• Desire to invest time during the season.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing players for the varsity team.
• Responsible for the collection of physical cards and emergency medical authorization forms.
• Organize and conduct practices as needed.

Skills

Coaching and administrative abilities

Ability to relate to and inspire young athletes

Knowledge of the care and prevention of athletic injuries

Organizational skills/resources to enhance the program

Knowledge of training and conditioning techniques
