Job summary

Young World Physical Education is looking for a Girls Basketball Coach Assistant I for the 9th grade. This part-time role involves assisting the head coach in player development, organizing practices, and maintaining a positive environment for young athletes.

Ideal candidates will have strong coaching abilities, leadership skills, and a passion for helping students grow in athletics. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, managing practices, and representing the school at games.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Teacher’s Certificate (preferred, not required).
• Obtain Pupil Activity Supervision Validation & CPR Certification.
• Demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing players for the varsity team.
• Responsible to the head coach and carry out the program.
• Report all games to the news media and the athletic director.
• Organize and conduct practices as needed.

Ability to relate to and inspire young athletes

Organizational skills/resources to enhance the program

Knowledge of training and conditioning techniques
