Ideal candidates have current hospice administrator or executive leadership experience and are comfortable establishing structure, ensuring compliance, and driving branch growth within a national hospice organization.

We are recruiting a Hospice RN Administrator for a growing national hospice provider's newly licensed Oklahoma City, OK branch.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an established hospice clinical leader who knows the Oklahoma City market and is ready to build. You will step into a de novo operation with an existing interdisciplinary team, a current census of one patient, and a clear mandate to create a strong clinical and operational foundation.

  • Lead an Oklahoma City branch that was opened in January 2026, with the opportunity to establish the office's clinical leadership foundation from the ground up.

Position Summary

The Hospice RN Administrator will provide clinical and operational leadership for a startup-stage hospice branch in Oklahoma City. This role requires an experienced hospice leader who can work comfortably in a low-census environment, lead an interdisciplinary team, maintain high standards of patient care and compliance, and help create the structure needed for sustainable branch growth.

This is a strong step-up opportunity for an accomplished DPCS/DPS, Clinical Director, or comparable hospice clinical leader who is ready to assume administrator-level responsibility. Current or recent Hospice Administrator or Executive Director experience is also highly relevant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day clinical and operational activities for the Oklahoma City hospice branch.
  • Establish a reliable clinical, compliance, and care-delivery foundation for a newly licensed, early-stage operation.
  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and accountability to the existing interdisciplinary team.
  • Ensure hospice services are delivered in accordance with patient needs, hospice Conditions of Participation, applicable state requirements, and organizational standards.
  • Support effective interdisciplinary collaboration among nursing, social work, chaplaincy, aides, intake, and business development resources.
  • Maintain readiness for regulatory oversight, documentation review, quality monitoring, and survey activity.
  • Help build processes that support timely admissions, responsive patient and family care, continuity of services, and disciplined clinical operations.
  • Partner with local leadership and the Director of Business Development to ensure clinical operations can support branch growth and referral responsiveness.
  • Represent the branch with professionalism and credibility in the Oklahoma City hospice community.
  • Operate as a visible, hands-on leader who can build momentum while the branch grows from a low census base.
Qualifications
  • RN background with substantial hospice clinical leadership experience.
  • Hospice leadership experience in the Oklahoma City, OK market and an established local professional reputation.
  • Current or recent experience as a Hospice Administrator, Executive Director, DPCS/DPS, Clinical Director, or comparable hospice clinical leader.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead hospice operations, interdisciplinary care delivery, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality.
  • Experience helping build, stabilize, grow, or improve a hospice branch, particularly in a de novo, low-census, turnaround, or early-stage environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of hospice clinical operations, interdisciplinary team practices, documentation expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to lead with sound clinical judgment, personal accountability, and a practical approach to building structure.
  • Comfort joining a newly licensed hospice operation with current census of one patient and helping establish its long‑term trajectory.
  • Oklahoma RN and administrator licensure requirements will be confirmed during the interview process.
