Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking personnel to serve as Small Arms/Artillery Repairers. You will maintain and repair electronic systems for weapons, supported by hands-on training and a structured pipeline.

Training spans 10 weeks of Basic Training and 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and a pathway to civilian work as an electronic or avionics technician, or missile facilities repairer.

Job training for Small Arms/Artillery Repairers consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Training consists of both classroom and field work.

Requirements

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
