Since the Army National Guard uses a variety of electronic systems, reliable power is essential. As a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer, you'll provide power to support virtually every aspect of Army activity, anytime and anywhere.
In this role, you'll support military operations day or night by performing preventive maintenance on generation equipment, replacing voltage regulators, governors, or circuit cards, and adjusting frequencies and voltages using technical publications to improve equipment efficiency.
Through training, you'll develop skills for a civilian career as a power plant electrician.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and approximately 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, combining classroom and field instruction in electrical power systems.
