Join to apply for the 91B Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic role at Army National Guard

As a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic for the Army National Guard, you’ll ensure that anything that moves on wheels is ready to hit the road. Your primary responsibilities include supervising and performing maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles both in the field and in the shop.

Your duties will include inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, testing, adjusting, and replacing systems and components; performing recovery operations; and servicing electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and charging systems.

Job Duties

• Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, and starting and charging systems

Through your training, you will develop skills applicable to civilian careers with service stations, auto dealers, farm equipment companies, and state highway agencies. You can pursue roles working on carburetors, transmissions, radiators, construction equipment, or endless track vehicles.
