Tyto Athene is seeking a 911 Program Manager with public safety expertise to lead our Enterprise NG9-1-1 solution, supporting PSAPs across CONUS, Hawaii, and Guam. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of program management experience with 5+ years in 9-1-1 or public safety settings.
  • MS Office, predominately Project, Word and Excel.
  • Experience with 911 Call Handling Platforms, CAD Platforms, and Telephony.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.

Description

Quantum Sky is searching for a 911 Program Manager with expertise in public safety environments to join our dynamic team supporting our Enterprise NG9-1-1 solution supporting customer’s Public Service Answering Points (PSAP) across CONUS, Hawaii, and Guam. Technical knowledge of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) systems, vendor coordination, stakeholder engagement with executives and agencies, and the ability to manage project teams and budgets to deliver the system on time and within scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, government agencies, telecommunications vendors, and technical staff.
  • Coordinate activities with telecommunications vendors and manage relationships to ensure successful system integration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support project related tasks and
  • Drive project execution by organizing work, tracking milestones, identifying risks, following up on action items, and helping leaders prioritize critical tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Partner with leadership to translate business priorities into clear plans, actions, timelines, and follow-through, ensuring key initiatives remain organized, visible, and moving forward.
  • Use business acumen to understand the organization’s priorities, connect the work to broader business outcomes, and provide thoughtful recommendations that help improve execution and decision-making.
  • Independently assess issues, gather relevant information, develop options, and move forward with limited direction while knowing when to escape for leadership input.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, minimum of 5 years’ experience in a 9-1-1 or public safety setting is highly desirable.
  • MS Office, predominately Project, Word and Excel
  • 911 Call Handling Platforms
  • 911 CAD Platforms
  • 911 Telephony
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.

Travel:

  • Up 30% travel CONUS and OCONUS

Clearance:

  • Minimum Secret eligibility.

Compensation:

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $120,000-$170,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
