Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused team member for our retail store. You will greet customers, ring up sales, handle cash, and keep the store clean and organized throughout shifts.

The role requires reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts, as well as the ability to use a mobile device for communication. Training covers PMG policies, safety, and delivering exceptional service to every customer.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required or preferred.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis.
• Operate cash register according to PMG standards, handle cash, record keeping, and shift paperwork.
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Stock and Merchandise the Sales Floor and Cooler areas.
• Maintain exterior/interior cleanliness and overall store appearance.
• Assist Management with other assigned tasks and daily communication.

To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Education

• Preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or currently enrolled in high school; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
