Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group, Inc. in Dover, NC is seeking a store associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience, manage transactions, and support daily tasks from merchandising to cleaning and cash-handling duties.

You will work with team members and report to management to ensure store-wide excellence. The role requires lifting, standing, and bending, with reliable transportation and flexible shifts. Both full-time and part-time positions are available to fit scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or currently enrolled in high school.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience.
• Operate cash register according to PMG standards and manage cash handling, lottery, and shift paperwork.
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Stock and Merchandising on the Sales Floor.
• Merchandising for Coolers.
• Vendor check-ins and coordination with management.
• Ensure PMG safety and operational procedures are followed.
• Perform tasks with integrity, honesty and respect.
• Assist Management with other assigned tasks.
• Exterior/Interior cleaning.

To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Education

• Preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or currently enrolled in high school; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
