General Description:
The Occupational Therapy Assistant Program’s Program Director is responsible for the management and administration of the OTA program, including planning, evaluation, budgeting, selection of faculty and staff, maintenance of the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education ( ACOTE ) reporting and program compliance with current ACOTE standards, and commitment to strategies for professional development. The Program Director is a full-time core member of the NOVA OTA Program teaching faculty.
Duties and Tasks:
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
The employee requires access to the Administrative Information System ( AIS ) to perform the duties and tasks required of the position.
KSAs:
Starting salary is commensurate based on education, experience and other appropriately qualifying factors within assigned rank and will fall within the specified hiring range for the assigned rank. Rank is determined by education and academic teaching experience. The hiring range for each rank is as follows: Assistant Professor ($72,000 to $84,000), Associate Professor ($81,000 to $93,000) and Professor ($90,000 to $102,000).
